Muttgrams is an upcoming mobile app that lets you upload photos of your dog, describe their personality, and receive playful daily messages "from" your dog. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Muttgrams.
Information we collect
When you use Muttgrams, we may collect the following types of information:

Firebase (data and image storage)
We use Google Firebase to store account data, dog profile details, and the photos you upload. Firebase provides secure, scalable infrastructure for authentication, databases, and file storage.

Google Analytics (measurement)
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use Muttgrams in aggregate—such as which screens are most popular and where users may encounter issues.
Google Analytics may collect information like device identifiers, pages or screens viewed, app events, and approximate location (country or region). This data helps us improve the app but is not used to send you personalized marketing within Muttgrams.

Facebook SDKs (measurement)
We use Facebook SDKs to help measure the effectiveness of any marketing campaigns that direct users to download Muttgrams. This may include tracking installs, app openings, and high-level usage events.
Data collected via Facebook SDKs may be used by Meta in accordance with the Meta Privacy Policy.
Google Gemini (chat responses)
Muttgrams uses Google Gemini, a large language model, to help generate chat-style responses from your dog based on the information and photos you provide.
When you interact with your dog's chat, portions of your dog profile, personality description, and prior messages may be sent to Gemini so it can generate appropriate responses. We use this service solely to power the in-app experience and do not sell your conversation data.

Data retention
We retain your account data, dog profiles, and photos for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You will be able to request deletion of your account and associated content once the app is live.
Your choices
- Updating your information: In the live app, you will be able to update your dog's profile and personality details at any time.
- Analytics and tracking: Your device or operating system may offer controls to limit ad tracking or reset identifiers used by analytics and measurement tools.
- Deleting your data: Once launched, we plan to provide a clear way to request deletion of your account, dog profiles, and photos.
Children's privacy
Muttgrams is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app evolves or as legal requirements change. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
